We know it was New Years Eve but management could have offered us a beverage. Anyway we had a great waiter. The service was exceptional and we were not rushed out after we finished eating. The food is well prepared and very nicely done. It is a pleasant evening of eating. Having been there before, this was the 1st time using Open Table.
We waited in a long line to check-in. The hostess had no idea what she was doing and gave us a pager and said we had first priority seating for our party of 8 because we were Open Table and not Call Ahead. The hostess asked if we wanted first available seating or inside. We requested first available soon as we stepped outside the pager went off. Another hostess was ready to seat us for 2. She was stunned and they must have gotten the pagers mixed up.
So we waited another 15 minutes. Our open table reservation was behind by over 30 minutes. Kids were served first without us asking. The chicken champagne dish had no taste. Server replaced the meal with another, not good. We were seated promptly. The service was quick, and the server was friendly.
Our portions were generous and tasty. I marked fair for food because of the pitcher of white sangria we ordered. The pitcher was packed with ice as were out glasses. Because of this, the sangria was tastless. The food was delicious. We over ordered which may explain why it felt a bit more expensive than we'd expected. We were hungry when we got there so ordered appetizers which were delicious that we didn't need, as the bread basket arrived shortly thereafter. We were all quite happy with our meals.
Host was bright and energetic although restaurant was very busy. Everything went fine. The restaurant had our table waiting on a busy Saturday night. Service with a smile. Ribs were ok.
