This season themes were pretty much on nature. As usual, Swedish designers focus on simplicity, sharpness, comfort and technology; including new combinations of quality materials. It is a shame that Acne decided not to participate since a couple of seasons ago — well, they do all the big fashion weeks instead.

Regarding the up-and-coming Johanna Pihl and Ubi Sunt continue steadily on the rise. Also, it is nice to see the point of view and proposals from fashion students, of which Beckmans Design School take care. Her garments are always characterized by an androgynous vibe and this season she pushed it forward incrementing the ultimate uniform and masculine shapes in blazers and blouses. Our press agency had a pop up show room in Paris in November and our collection was appreciated for its prints and color palette.

We currently work only with the Scandinavian market but will expand our press market to a international market as soon as we sell there as well. Paul Weller for his way of expressing the mod philosophy. A roughness with boots, military knit and a parka together with a sharp tailored suit.

David Bowie, Lou Reed for the street smart classic yet modern styling and Alain Delon for always dressing sharp. They are the muses we would like to dress. We are now working on a larger collaboration with the Art Museum Liljevalchs and will connect several new upcoming and old gem artists.

Music is an important factor for the brand. Tell me about it. Has any band performed at any of your shows? Yes, music is an major inspiration and lots of our muses and ambassadors are musicians. We have special selected playlists streamed in our stores to identify our inspiration and every show has a careful selected musical theme.

What do you enjoy more, listen to classic bands, the new bands or it is generally just a mix of both? A mix of both! We like to imagine that, on the day he was born, his mother looked down upon him and saw a sparkle in his eyes that hinted at his future, at the razor-sharp tailoring he was to become renowned for.

And so she chose to name him after the kris, and not, say, Kris Kristofferson as far as we are aware , knowing that one day his extraordinary ability would be mentioned in folklore, too. Though, to be honest, she probably just thought it was a good name. We were once told that a good name needs to be short and international with an R. Like Kris. I do like law and order, but as far as the army is concerned, my fascination starts and ends with the uniforms.

I did a lot of research and realised that military uniforms and jackets could allow me to use a tailoring approach in sportswear, since they are so formal and structured. So, I started using all I had learned about tailoring and applying it to the sportswear. Those pieces are normally very stiff and uncomfortable when they are the real, original military thing, but they became fluid and luxurious in our ateliers. It was a metaphor for the contemporary urban soldier — much more about Wall Street than war.

And I have always liked the technical part of menswear. I like the construction, the finishing, and all the technical details that contribute to a piece being practical or qualitative.

That changed just one year before I turned 18, which probably saved me from this experience.
