How old is darkseid

He simply seemed to direct its energies into him, siphoning off enough to become fueled by it, perhaps even becoming the new carrier of the Battery's spark. This seems highly unlikely, considering that Darkseid is inherently evil and the Lanterns are considered a force for good. Yet, history has shown that one does not always need to be virtuous to be gifted the power of Lantern.

Sinestro was once a Lantern, and there was an alternate version of Bruce Wayne who got a ring and used its power for evil. The simple truth is that willpower is an emotion everyone has, whether they choose to be a hero or villain, and Darkseid has one of the greatest wills in the DC Universe.

This also explains why he was able to overcome Hal Jordan and use his body as a puppet until his plans came to fruition. If Darkseid's will was great enough to steal the power of the Green Lantern Battery, then it stands to reason that he could dominate Hal's mind. It also stands to reason that with the power of the battery at his disposal, Darkseid has become even more powerful than other gods of the emotional spectrum such as Ion and Parallax, making this form one of his strongest to date.

Wasn't it mentioned that Darkseid used time travel technology to go back in time before he was born. The New gods had a different understanding of time than other beings? Most timelines I've seen place Darkseid around a few thousand to around thirty-thousand years old at most. Sometimes he and the other new gods are shown as older, but this is rare.

I was only out by a few thousand years. It gives the rise of Yuga Khan as about 30, years ago. He has lived 'Ages'. No number of years mentioned just that he has destroyed worlds and rules his own universe which he basically created as after effects of his battles with Highfather.

Although Odin is probably older. The Elder Gods were one of the first things on Earth, which puts them at around billion years old. However, Odin is probably far younger than that. So Darkseid, depending on which is more accurate, is either far younger than Odin or around the same age.

Both are tremendously older than Thanos, who is at least years old. Their goal? Collapsing the Milky Way galaxy in on itself. In the New Gods, long thought immortal, were murdered one by one.

It turned out the culprit was none other than the Source itself, from which the New Gods drew their power. New Genesis and Apokolips were merged into one new planet—the Fifth World. He unleashed the Anti-Life Equation on Earth, making the population his mindless slaves.

Or so it seemed. In the post-Flashpoint DC Universe of the New 52, there was only one iteration of Darkseid across the 52 known parallel universes, and he wanted all of the universes for himself. He also searched the Multiverse for his long-lost daughter, Grail. After nearly conquering Earth-2, Darkseid invaded Prime Earth, causing the formation of the Justice League in this timeline.

She drew her father to Earth, and Darkseid was caught in a war with the Anti-Monitor, the ancient being responsible for the Crisis on Infinite Earths.

During the Crisis, Darkseid had helped defeat the Anti-Monitor, who now returned to seek vengeance. The Justice League was caught in the crossfire of this battle between ancient, evil deities, both far more powerful than the League. Grail took the child, hoping to raise him to be the scourge of the universe, but this time molded by her vision.

Together, they killed several children of gods, including Hercules. As they took each demigod down, infant Darkseid absorbed their energy and used it to grow stronger. Restored to full size and strength, Darkseid was then ready to battle the heroes of the DC Universe once again. God vs. Related Comic Series.
